Surviving

In the midst of the grind. Was a little disappointed with the Survivor results. I was hoping that Steph was going to be able to pull it out. The turning point was when they voted out Judd. If they'd got rid of Lydia instead, Danni would have still been on the block. I think getting rid of Cindy was a mistake as well.

As for The Apprentice,I'm going to have to tape it and watch it the next day (as I did for the Survivor finale). At any rate, I think Rebecca may win this one. Randal just seems to be making too many critical mistakes.

The Joe Piscopo cancellation is rather reminiscent of the Chris Webber one two seasons ago, so we'll have to see how Rebecca deals with that. Though, Randal is also having to deal with rain. It should still be a close one (this is the first time in a while when you haven't been able to call the winner before the tasks were even assigned).

Festive Food

Lots of Turkey today. The LSA had their turkey lunch, and then I went to a Christmas party where I worked this summer, and turkey was also served. It was quite good at both events.

As far as reality television goes, I'm not sure that the folks on Survivor made the best move. I recognise that Judd was probably going to knife them before long, however I have a realy problem with Lydia getting as far as she has. As well, they should have told Cindy, as the message that she likely got from all this is that she's next (and I don't think that she should be).

As far as The Apprentice goes, I'm happy with the final two. I've been pulling for Randal and Rebecca pretty much all along, and their video was much better than Capital Edge's. I agree with Trump's assessment that Felicia probably would have asked for herself to be fired had Alla eased off a bit. It seems to be a bit of a fine line in the board room, but I got the impression that everytime Alla talked today she was digging herself a hole. Sometimes, you just have to sit back and let the other person damage themselves.
