I Don't See You Lasting

Glad to see Trump putting a stop to this "bringing one person into the boardroom" nonsense. It's usually people that do little things to piss him off right before the boardroom that wind up with the axe (this was very much reminiscent of the Bradford firing for me). Chris may have still been able to get Markus fired if he brought Mark into the boardroom, so I'm not sure of the whole decision to bring just one person in. I also agree with the assessment that Markus will be gone shortly. He's sort of cut from the same cloth as Sam and Raj as the designated "zany character".

I'm cleared for the game against UBC on Saturday, so let's see if I'm actually successful at killing myself this time ;)

The problem isn't that he's zany. It's that he's stupid, incompetent, and incapable of working in a team.

Trump told Chris that if he brought back Marcus, that Marcus wouldn't get fired. Chris should have realized that he shouldn't have bothered trying to get Marcus fired, or, at least, he should have covered his bases by giving Trump an alternative. You can't flagrantly disobey Trump and expect him to reward you for it. The Boardroom is no place to be cute.

The zaniness isn't a problem per se, more the only thing that I can see to explain his presence on the show (as was the case with Sam. Raj, not so much).

At the very least, perhaps this signals an end to the "Tag Team" Boardroom strategy that we've seen in the past, where PMs bring in a loyalist to have their back.
